Ren Zhong, also known by the pseudonym Qian Li, is a professional painter and collector. He creates artworks from his studio Yutong Xiaoguan. Young and talented, Ren Zhong is a conscientious thinker who has an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Under the tutelage of his father, he keenly studied poetry and moral teachings of his native country at a tender age. It was also during this time when he was introduced to ancient original artworks and techniques. Ren Zhong began travelling far and wide when he was twenty years old. He chiefly stayed in Beijing, Shanghai, and Sichuan. During his travels, he visited friends and teachers and took in awe-inspiring landscapes. From the original works of the masters, not only did he learn their techniques but also their spirits. Ren Zhong’s paintings of flora and fauna, landscapes, and figures are nobly classical and elegantly solemn. Meticulously composed, his paintings are a distillation of ancient wisdom while stylistically innovative and original. At the age of thirty, he consolidated all his influences and formulated his own voice. In recent years, his universally acclaimed paintings achieved unprecedented popularity.
