THE COURTAULD INSTITUTE OF ART
LACA LECTURE
The Courtauld Institute of Art is home to one of the world’s great art collections, located in the magnificent historic setting of Somerset House in central London. The gallery is currently closed for a major transformation project and is due to reopen to the public in November 2021. LACA is honoured to support The Courtauld and a lecture as part of their Research Forum – a global programme that includes topics relating to contemporary Asia.
The theme of the lecture in association with LACA for 2021 is the role of the artist in the context of the environment. This lecture will be given by celebrated Chinese artist and filmmaker Zheng Bo (b.1974), who will be joined in conversation with Dr Wenny Teo, Senior Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Asian Art at The Courtauld and Viv Lawes, Head of LACA Education and Programme.
